Nicotine and Tobacco Research Center

At the heart of the Centers' research is the Nicotine and Tobacco Research Center. This Center covers a wide range of investigation into tobacco and nicotine dependence that includes basic research in fundamental biobehavioral mechanisms and applied research. 

Participate in a research study 

Applied research studies include: clinical and community studies in pharmacological and cognitive behavioral interventions, brief interventions in managed care settings and other health care settings, interventions for uninsured and underserved populations, the use of computer informatics technologies, and dissemination of research findings to inform treatment practices and public policy.  The Nicotine and Tobacco Research Center has undergone tremendous growth.
