When to Call

The Sensory Processing/Communication Disorders Outpatient Clinic is for:

  • Children and adolescents with a sensory processing disorder and a co-occurring speech, language and/or pragmatic disorder

  • Children and adolescents with sensory processing and speech, language or pragmatic deficits due to a social-emotional, behavioral and/or developmental disorder

  • Children and adolescents with a "rule out" diagnosis that requires further exploration of sensory processing systems as well as their speech, language and pragmatic skills

Expertise

The Sensory Processing/Communication Disorders Outpatient Clinic is comprised of certified and licensed occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists who specialize in working with children and adolescents with sensory processing difficulties and an associated communication disorder.
