Fizza S. Gillani, a graduate of Boston University, with a doctorate in Economics, is working as Data Specialist for the Lifespan/Tufts/Brown CFAR. Dr. Gillani has extensive experience in the field of data management and data analysis. She has a strong background in econometrics/statistics, study design, data management, and software development. She has worked on projects, which dealt with longitudinal survey designs, database collection designs, collection processes, data analyses and report writing phases. She also has supervised field survey teams for a major longitudinal data collection project administered by USAID and International Food Policy Research Institute.

In addition to her data management expertise, Dr. Gillani has a wide variety of international experiences especially related to less developed countries, which also include consultancy with Asian Development Bank.
