The results become part of the patient's record and can be viewed by the staff including doctors, nurse educators and dietitians. The staff can use this information to quickly identify patients who need changes in their treatment. How the Program Can Help You The purpose of the Hasbro Children's Hospital Hallett Center Diabetes Program is to increase communication among patients and their families, and the diabetes team. It also allows them to ask questions, receive answers and view test results in a way that protects their privacy. Hasbro Children's Hospital Hallett Center Diabetes Program encourages teenagers, the primary users of this site, to take control of their diabetes and treatment. They can send messages during non-school hours and read responses the next day at their convenience.
