David Kawatu, MD, is a gastroenterologist in the division of pediatric gastroenterology, nutrition and liver diseases.

Kawatu received his medical degree from the University of Zambia, Lusaka. He completed an internship at Queens University in Ontario, Canada. He completed his residency at the State University of New York and his fellowship, here, at Hasbro Children's Hospital.
