“We recognize that our patients needing dialysis treatments are busy people – they often are working full-time and managing families,” said Douglas G. Shemin, MD, medical director of the Rhode Island Hospital Outpatient Dialysis Centers. “By providing both extended hours in a convenient location, and the home hemo-dialysis option, we hope to make the process a bit easier on our patients and their families.”
