Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

1. To describe strategies for giving effective feedback to medical student learners during the doctoring course and the third-year clinical clerkships in internal medicine, family medicine, and pediatrics.

2. To effectively integrate direct observation of medical student encounters into participants' clinical practice in a time-efficient manner.

3. To maximize the impact of the mid-point feedback session on student performance.
