Shields MRI & CT of Rhode Island

Rhode Island Hospital has partnered with Shields Health Care Group and Rhode Island Medical Imaging to bring hospital patients Shields MRI and CT of Rhode Island. The imaging service allows for more flexible MRI and CT scheduling for patients.

Shields MRI and CT of Rhode Island is located near the Rhode Island Hospital campus and is equipped with a high-field Marconi MRI and a Toshiba CT machine. Patient support services include multilingual education materials, patient transportation assistance, interpreter service and an on-site patient advocate.

Referrals and appointments

Shields MRI and CT of Rhode Island accepts most public and private insurance programs, including Medicare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and liability carriers covering worker's compensation and motor vehicle accidents.
