Call us immediately if you:
- Have a fever
- Develop severe abdominal or stomach pain
- Notice swelling, redness, tenderness or drainage from the incision (A small amount of drainage from the gastrostomy site is not unusual but if it seems excessive or if there is spreading redness, call the office.)
- Notice your legs begin to swell, especially if it is only one leg that is involved
- Become acutely short of breath
