Per Diem B Program for Allied Health Professionals
Our Per Diem B Program for allied health professionals is an accelerated
pay program that requires a commitment of a standard number of hours.
Program Details:
- Work requirement is 32 hours per week for four weeks, one weekend per four
week schedule and one winter and one summer holiday.
- Per Diem B allied health professionals may be placed on any shift at
the discretion of the department.
- Hours are not guaranteed.
- Department-based positions are available.
- The hourly rate varies by position. Please call 401-444-5337
for specific position/rate information.
- This is an all-inclusive rate, with no differentials and no benefits.
Per Diem B allied health professionals are not eligible for extra hours
bonuses.
- Per Diem B allied health professionals are bargaining unit members
of United Nurses and Allied Professionals (UNAP).
- Per Diem B allied health professionals can still accrue seniority.
- Rates increase 3% in the second year of the contract and 3.5% in the
third year of the contract.
An employee who is newly hired into a Per Diem B allied health professional
position must remain in the position for one year. After that time, the
employee is eligible to transfer into a different position.
