Background Information

Wendy Hadley, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with an interest in pediatric psychology. She has particular interest in working with children and adolescents who are HIV-positive.

Hadley completed her undergraduate work at the University of Florida and received her PhD from the University of Memphis. She completed both her internship and post-doctoral fellowship within the Brown University Clinical Consortium.

Research Interests

Hadley's current research interests focus on adolescent risk behaviors. In particular, she is interested in adolescent sexual risk-taking. She is involved in several major projects funded by the National Institute of Mental Health that focuses on adolescents with psychiatric disorders and HIV risk.

Hadley has a particular interest in family factors and the impact of those factors in either increasing or decreasing adolescent engagement in risk behaviors.
