Osteopenia Study
If you have been diagnosed with osteopenia or have bone loss you
may be eligible to participate in a research study evaluating an
investigational medication to prevent bone loss. This study is being
conducted at the Hallett Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology.
To qualify, you must be a post-menopausal woman who has been diagnosed
with osteopenia or who has bone loss, and be age 45 years or older.
As part of the study, you may receive free of charge:
- Study-related physical exams
- Study medications
- Bone density testing
- Calcium and Vitamin D supplements
- Spine x-rays
