Outreach Services for Adults
Nursing Home Services
On a contractual basis, nursing home services consist of consultations provided and
supervised by Board Certified geriatric psychiatrists, geriatric nurses and behavioral
psychologists.
Nursing home residents are evaluated for psychiatric problems, including dementia,
depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia and substance abuse.
Treatment modalities include psychopharmacology, supportive therapy and liaison with
nursing home staff.
