More about cancer care for children An important part of caring for children with cancer and blood disorders is providing psychological, emotional and social support. Social workers work with our patients and their families, and our parent consultant—a parent who has had a child with cancer or another serious illness—is also available to meet with families. We offer a support group for patients’ parents and one for their siblings, as well as a group exclusively for teens with cancer, which helps them cope with the special challenges they face.
The Tomorrow Fund Clinic
The Tomorrow Fund and its clinic at Hasbro Children's Hospital offers a broad spectrum of assistance to kids with cancer and their families.
