Residents at our hospitals gain

program physicians.

As the principal teaching hospitals for Brown Medical School,
Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital offer exceptional
educational opportunities in both dermatology and dermatoepidemiology
research, which focuses on cutaneous malignancies. The Miriam
Hospital offers residency programs in dermatology.
Residents at both hospitals gain clinical experience under the
close supervision of the melanoma program physicians.
The melanoma program team at the Comprehensive Cancer Center
offers the most innovative diagnostic methods and treatments—many
that are not available elsewhere in the region. The combined strengths
