Dietician
Registered dietitians educate patients about nutrition and administer
medical nutrition therapy as part of the health care team. They may also
manage foodservice operations and oversee everything from food purchasing
and preparation to managing staff.

Educational requirements:
- Complete a bachelor's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited university
or college, and course work approved by the Commission on Accreditation
for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association.
- Complete a CADE accredited or approved supervised practice program
at a health care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation,
or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies.
- Pass a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic
Registration.
- Complete continuing professional educational requirements to maintain
registration.
