 Susan
M. Green, MD, MPH, is medical director and medical
review officer at the Newport Hospital Occupational Health Center.
Green also serves as medical reviewer for the Newport Alliance,
the occupational health division of Newport Hospital.
Green earned her medical degree from the University of
Minnesota and completed her internship and residency in internal
medicine at Rhode Island Hospital. She has provided occupational
health services to Newport County for more than 10 years.
With extensive postgraduate training in occupational and public
health, Green is board-certified in both occupational health and
internal medicine. She is also physician to the Newport Fire Department
and serves on state committees. Green is approved to conduct Seafarer
medical exams for the United Kingdom.
