Coronary Care Unit
Personal Items, Gifts, Food and Drink
| The use of cell phones is not permitted in the CCU. Please turn off your cell phone prior to entering the unit. |
Coronary care unit (CCU) patients may keep a few personal belongings in their rooms. Medication, money, jewelry and other valuables should be kept at home.
To help with infection control and safety, please do not send or bring flowers, balloons or fruit baskets to CCU patients. Greeting cards and pictures can be posted in the patient’s room.
Please do not bring food or beverages into the CCU. We ask that visitors finish eating or drinking in the waiting area before entering the CCU. Food and beverages can be purchased in the gift and coffee shop and in the cafeteria.
