The Miriam’s renowned gift shop has a new home: the Victor and Gussie Baxt Building. It’s wide open, clean and clear, and decorated in the softest of earth tones, blended to create an atmosphere of perfect elegance.
And the selection? Outstanding, says Sandy Simon, the shop’s co-manager, pictured below, second from the right, helping customers find the perfect gift. |
 “We have wonderful things for infants, a lovely children’s department: books, games, stuffed animals," says Simon. "We have porcelains, and leather handbags and wallets. We have apparel for men, women, children and infants. We have collectibles, items for the garden. And jewelry, wonderful jewelry!”
All of these gifts are presented in an atmosphere of ease, to encourage shoppers to browse in unhurried pleasure. |
When you visit the gift shop, please treat yourself to a cappuccino or espresso at our Coffee Bar, which serves coffee drinks made with fair-trade certified beans. This ensures that coffee farmers in developing countries have been paid a fair price for the coffee served at The Miriam.
Hours of operation
The Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. The Coffee Bar is open weekdays from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., and on weekends from noon until 5 p.m. |
