Occupational therapists specialize in the area of cognitive rehabilitation. Using our special training in the areas of memory and cognition, as well as, physical disabilities, we can assist individuals with cognitive impairments (such as early dementia or Alzheimer's disease) become more functional in their leisure activities and daily living.

Occupational therapists work with family and caregivers to adapt the home environment and offer strategies to help a loved one succeed safely in their own home.
