Our Experienced Staff

The Miriam Hospital cares for approximately 15,000 cardiac patients a year. Our physicians have the experience and expertise to provide you with the best in cardiovascular care.

In 2005, the cardiac catheterization laboratory treated more than 3,800 patients and performed over 5,000 major procedures. That year, the cardiac surgery department completed over 500 open-heart surgical operations. Our cardiovascular specialists work as a team, across all disciplines, combining their expertise to provide an individualized treatment plan for each patient.
