Tong, IrisIris Tong, MD, FACP, is director of women’s primary care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. An assistant professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Tong received a medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York, and completed her residency in general internal medicine at Alpert Medical School, where she also served as chief resident. Tong is board certified in internal medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Tong is immediate past chair of the Women’s Health Advisory Committee of the Rhode Island State Department of Health. Her clinical and academic interests include medical education, particularly in the field of women’s health. She is former director of the doctoring course at Alpert Medical School and clinical director of the women’s health track in the General Internal Medicine Residency Program at Alpert Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital.

Tong is a 2012 recipient of the Beckwith Family Award for Outstanding Teaching presented by The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University department of medicine. She is fluent in English, French and Cantonese.


Bilodeau, CourtneyCourtney Bilodeau, MD, FACP, is an attending physician in obstetric medicine and women’s primary care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. An assistant clinical professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, she received a medical degree from Chicago Medical School, completed her residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital, and completed a fellowship in obstetric and consultative medicine at Women & Infants Hospital.

Bilodeau is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the Rhode Island Medical Society, the North American Society of Obstetric Medicine and the International Society of Obstetric Medicine. Bilodeau is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical and research interests include breastfeeding, evidence-based complementary medicine, and peripartum management of chronic medical conditions from preconception through postpartum.


Bodkin, SheenaghSheenagh Bodkin, MD, is an attending physician in women’s primary care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. A clinical instructor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Bodkin received a medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. She completed her residency at Boston Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident in ambulatory care.

She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Rhode Island Medical Society. Bodkin is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical and research interests include women’s health issues.

 

 


Lynn Pesta, MD

Lynn Pesta, MD, is an attending physician in women’s primary care at the Women's Medicine Collaborative. Pesta received a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. She completed her residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care, University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. 

Pesta is board eligible in internal medicine. She was the 2015 recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching award and 2015 recipient of the Richard Bouchard Primary Care Excellence award from the University of Vermont. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine and cancer screening.

 


Mariah_StumpMariah Stump, MD, MA, MPH, is an attending physician in women’s primary care. Stump received a medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT. She completed her residency at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Stump also earned a master in public health degree with a concentration in women’s and reproductive health and adolescent health from Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD.

Stump is board eligible in internal medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the Rhode Island Medical Society. A certified yoga instructor in vinyasa yoga, her research interests include medical education, particularly in the realms of developing evidence-based integrative medicine curriculum. Her clinical interests include yoga, mindfulness, prevention, lifestyle medicine, OB medicine, pregnancy and women's primary care.  She is fluent in English and is conversational in Spanish.


Martufi, CynthiaCynthia Martufi, FNP-BC, NCMP, is a nurse practitioner in women’s primary care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. She received a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Rhode Island. Martufi is a board certified family nurse practitioner and has been certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a NAMS certified menopause practitioner.

Martufi has a background in primary care, dermatology, and college health. Her clinical interests include women’s health issues, menopause and preventive health care.

 

 


Congdon, KathleenKathleen Congdon, RN, BSN, CDOE, is the nurse care manager for Women’s Primary Care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative.  A registered nurse, Congdon earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Rhode Island College. She is a certified diabetes outpatient educator.

Her clinical interests include high-risk patients with multiple chronic medical conditions and diabetes education. In her role as nurse care manager, Congdon serves as a patient advocate and enhances care by empowering patients to take an active role in managing their health. She offers tools to help patients reach health goals, helps individuals manage chronic medical conditions, follows-up after hospital visits to help prevent readmissions, and provides information about disease prevention, home care services and community resources.


Rebeiro, KathyKathy A. Rebeiro, ANP-BC, AE-C, is a nurse practitioner in women’s primary care and the asthma clinic at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Southeastern Massachusetts University and a master of science in nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.

Rebeiro is a board certified adult nurse practitioner and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is a certified asthma educator. Rebeiro has an extensive clinical background in primary care, managing a wide array of acute, chronic, and complex problems, as well as preventive and routine medical care. Her clinical and research interests include women’s health issues, asthma education and patient advocacy.

She also serves as mentor and preceptor for future nurse practitioners.


Anne Sedlock 1Anne Sedlock, FNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner in women's primary care at the Women's Medicine Collaborative. She received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from the University of Pennsylvania, a master of science in applied educational psychology at Northeastern University in Boston, and her bachelor and master of science degrees in nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston.

Sedlock is a board certified family nurse practitioner and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Sedlock's clinical interests include women's health, health promotion and wellness strategies, holistic and complementary approaches, culturally competent care, quality improvement, and patient and family education.
