Nicole Anderson, MD is an attending radiation oncologist and practices at Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital. She has academic appointments as an assistant professor at both Brown University and Tufts University.
Anderson was born and raised in Rhode Island. She attended the University of Rhode Island for her undergraduate degree and then went on to receive her medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She received her residency training in radiation oncology at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.
Anderson recently returned to Providence and is practicing full time in the department of radiation oncology. She treats all anatomical sites and diagnoses but has a particular interest in breast cancer as well as head and neck malignancies. She currently serves as the director of medical student education in the department.
Anderson is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Radiology, and The American Brachytherapy Society.
