The Workforce S.T.A.T. program is designed, in partnership with Homefront Health Care, to meet the needs of the health care industry by transitioning – in an accelerated manner – a group of unemployed or underemployed entry-level Rhode Islanders into a prepared, focused, well-qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) workforce. Upon completion of this 4 month program, participants earn their Rhode Island CNA license, CPR certifications and work readiness credentials. Program graduates may be considered for future employment at a Lifespan affiliate or Homefront Health Care facility.
The program will be offered in three sessions. Each session will take 16 to 18 weeks to complete.
