Patient Satisfaction

Communication about Medicine:
Did staff explain about medicine before giving it to the patient?

If patients were given medicine that they had not taken before, the feedback survey asked whether staff explained about the medicine. “Explained” means that hospital staff told what the medicine was for and what side effects it might have before they gave it to the patient.

Bars below tell what percent of patients said staff “always” explained about medicine before giving it to them.
