Pain Management: How well was patient's pain controlled?

If patients needed medicine for pain during their hospital stay, the feedback survey asked how well their pain was kept under control. “Pain was well controlled” means their pain was well controlled and that the hospital staff did everything they could to help patients with their pain.

Percent of patients said their pain was “always” well controlled.

Data are for July 2010 through June 2011, released May 2012.
