The following indicators are used by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to judge quality cardiac care. These reports give information about how Lifespan hospitals compare to other hospitals nationally in the area of cardiac care.

• Percent of Heart Failure Patients Given ACE Inhibitor or ARB for Left Ventricular Systolic Dysfunction (LVSD)
• Percent of Heart Failure Patients Given Discharge Instructions
• Percent of Heart Failure Patients Given Smoking Cessation Advice/Counseling
• Percent of Heart Failure Patients Given an Evaluation of Left Ventricular Systolic (LVS) Function

About the Data

The data on this site is reported to the Department of Health and Human Services and is updated on a quarterly basis.
