Patients gave feedback on how well their doctors communicated with them during their hospital stay. “Communicated well” means doctors:

  • explained things clearly
  • listened carefully to the patient
  • treated the patient with courtesy and respect

Bars below tell what percent of patients said their doctors “always” communicated well.
