  • Interpreter Services

  • Interpreters are available to assist non-English speaking patients and their families. Our trained interpreters speak Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean and Cambodian. In addition, assistance with other languages, including American Sign Language for hearing-impaired patients or their families, is available. Please call 401-444-8708 or speak with your nurse.

    Deaf-Talk video conferencing equipment and telecommunication devices for the deaf are also available. Please ask your nurse or call the hospital switchboard at 401-444-4000 for assistance with any language needs during weekends or after hours.
