Systemic lupus erythematosus
Systemic lupus erythematosus is a chronic inflammatory
autoimmune disorder which may affect many organ systems including
the skin, joints, and internal organs. The disease may be mild or
severe and lifethreatening. Women are disproportionately
affected.
