Goals

To maintain
national leadership in academic behavioral and preventive medicine.

basic scientific knowledge of biobehavioral mechanisms in health and illness.

To advance clinical and community applications research to improve health,
health care delivery and policy.

To provide leadership for the behavioral science section of
the Brown Medical School, Program in Public Health.
