A New Look For Bradley

(L-R) Fred Macri, senior vice president of shared services and facilities development, Lifespan; Henry Sachs, M.D., medical director, Bradley Hospital; George Vecchione, president and CEO, Lifespan; David Brown, chairman, Bradley Hospital Board of Trustees; Eileen Howard Dunn, vice president, CVS Caremark Charitable Trust; Congressman Patrick Kennedy; and Daniel J. Wall, president and CEO, Bradley Hospital, participate in the recent ceremonial groundbreaking of a new addition at Bradley Hospital.

On April 14, 2008, Bradley Hospital broke ground on a new, state-of-the-art, 44,000-square-foot addition on the hospital's East Providence campus. The project is scheduled to be complete by the fall of 2009.

The event marked the beginning of a major campus-wide revitalization that will significantly increase and modernize patient, visitor and research space at Bradley Hospital, the nation’s first psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents and a major teaching hospital for The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. These necessary updates will better accommodate today’s patients, enhance the top-notch care that Bradley is known for, and ensure that Bradley Hospital remains one of the country's leading children’s mental health treatment, education and research centers.
