Scott Haltzman, MDA board-certified psychiatrist, Scott Haltzman, MD is author of The Secrets of Happily Married Men and The Secrets of Happily Married Women. The Secrets of Happy Families, Haltzman’s third book with co-author Theresa Foy DiGeronimo, will be published later this year.

Haltzman received his medical degree from Brown Medical School. Following his psychiatric training and chief residency at Yale University, Haltzman moved back to Rhode Island with his wife and children. He now serves as medical director of NRI Community Services in Woonsocket, and as a clinical assistant professor in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Haltzman is also founder and editor of DrScott.com. Haltzman has appeared on the the "Today" show, "20/20," "Good Morning America," and in Time, Glamour, Redbook, Parents, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and other local and national media outlets.

A member of Redbook’s “Love Network,” Haltzman is also an editorial consultant for Best Life magazine. He co-authored the chapter “Men, Marriage and Divorce” in the American Psychiatric Press book, Men and Mental Health. He is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
