Recognizing the Physical and Emotional Signs of Anger
The following physical and emotional changes make thinking less clear and can be signs of anger.
Physical:
- clenched fists
- sweaty palms
- racing heart
- shallow breathing
- racing heartbeat
- clenched jaw

- mad
- aggravated
- discontented
- resentful
- furious
- annoyed
- loss of temper
- outraged
- infuriated
- bitter
- seething
- hateful
- ranting and raving
