Child and Adolescent Services
Residential Treatment
Bradley Hospital provides intensive, family-centered residential
treatment services to children ages 4 to 12 years who have emotional
and behavioral problems that prevent them from living safely at
home. Children live together and are provided intensive staff supervision
and clinical services.
The residential program's multidisciplinary staff includes psychologists,
nurses, social workers, residential counselors and a child psychiatrist.
Children take part in individual, group, milieu, psychopharmacological,
family and multifamily therapy to help them achieve the program's
primary goal-family reunification.
Our residential treatment programs include:
- The CRAFT Program
The Child and Adolescent Services' hospital-based residence is
the Children's Residential and Family Treatment (CRAFT) Program.
Located on the main campus in East Providence, CRAFT offers intensive,
short-term treatment to children and their families who struggle
with psychiatric, emotional and/or behavioral problems.
- Exeter House
The Child and Adolescent Services' community-based residence is
Exeter House. The program is located in Exeter, Rhode Island,
where the staff cares for up to eight children at any given time.
Children at Exeter House have access to community living while
participating in the residential treatment program.
