Our Staff and Expertise

TeachingOur multidisciplinary teams consist of highly trained education and mental health professionals who work together to assess, treat and educate students. Team members may include a clinical psychologist, child/adolescent psychiatrist, clinical social worker, certified special education teacher, classroom behavior specialist, speech/language pathologist, occupational therapist and school nurse. The majority of our clinical staff holds faculty appointments in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at Brown Medical School and is actively involved in training new professionals in the area of school mental health.

Bradley School staff members have expertise in working with students who have a variety of serious and/or complicated mental health issues such as:

  • anxiety disorders, including anxiety-based school refusal
  • attention deficit disorders
  • depression
  • bipolar disorder
  • developmental disabilities
  • disruptive behavior disorders
  • early childhood disorders
  • pervasive developmental disorders, including Asperger's Disorder
  • thought disorders

We also have extensive experience working with students and families to identify and secure effective psychosocial treatments, medication management and vocational programming.

Bradley School staff members are also committed to being actively involved in the community.
