Training at Bradley Hospital
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency
The Brown University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency
provides a two-year program for physicians to train as specialists
in child psychiatry. Residents generally enter at postgraduate year
four after completing training in general psychiatry. The first
year of training is done primarily at Bradley Hospital and much
of the second year of training is completed at Hasbro Children's
Hospital.
The residency provides a broad training experience in all aspects
of child and adolescent psychiatry, with elective opportunities
in research and specialty areas.
