Be Stroke Smart: Free Event for Seniors

Join us to learn about new treatments for stroke and tips for prevention. Visit educational booths on blood pressure, stroke risks, medications and nutritional counseling.

The speaking program will comprise "What is a Stroke? Tips for Stroke Prevention" by Jo-Ann Sarafin, MS, RNP, NP, stroke nurse coordinator, Rhode Island Hospital, and "New Treatments for Stroke" presented by Edward Feldmann, MD, stroke director, Rhode Island Hospital.

This event is free and open to the public.
