The Lifespan Call Center provides the following services for Lifespan hospitals:

• Nonstop direction, assistance and connection for customers and staff of Rhode Island Hospital, its Hasbro Children's Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, and Lifespan Corporate Services.
• Maintenance of on-call schedules for Rhode Island Hospital, its Hasbro Children's Hospital, and The Miriam Hospital
• Paging of medical staff and hospital staff at Rhode Island Hospital, its Hasbro Children's Hospital, and The Miriam Hospital
• Response to all emergency codes, fire drills and disaster codes at Rhode Island Hospital, its Hasbro Children's Hospital, and The Miriam Hospital
• Assistance and facilitation of communication for hospital physicians through a specially designed physician hotline
• Assistance and direction of patient request to the appropriate hospital departments
• Call center solutions for outside health care practitioners through the physician answering service.
