    The Miriam Hospital is currently hosting four different bariatric support groups. Please take note of what type of support group and who the support group is designed for (i.e. all patients, band patients or post operative patients only). Depending on the number and the needs of people attending the groups, we may adjust the meetings in the future.

    For more information on the meetings please call The Miriam Hospital Bariatric Hot Line at 401-793-3922.

    Men Only Support Group: For pre- and post-op bariatric male patients. Group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 6-7 p.m. in the Hurvitz 2 Conference Room at The Miriam Hospital.

    Life After Weight Loss Surgery: For patients who have had any type of bariatric surgery are welcome. Group meets the second Wednesday of each month from 10-11 a.m. in the Hurvitz 2 Conference Room at The Miriam Hospital.

    Living Well After Weight Loss Surgery: Small group setting for patients who have had any type of bariatric surgery (at least six months post-op). Group meets the third Tuesday of each month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Hurvitz 2 Conference Room at The Miriam Hospital.

    Weight Loss Striders Keys to Success: All-inclusive meeting for pre-op and post-op patients and those just investigating the surgery, family members welcome. Group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Sopkin Auditorium at The Miriam Hospital.

    Directions and parking at The Miriam Hospital (free valet parking until 7 p.m.)
