In her new role as Diversity/EEO Coordinator, Kaye is responsible for implementing Lifespan's affirmative action programs, investigating allegations of discrimination, supporting the five employee resource groups, conducting diversity training and overseeing production of the Diversity@Lifespan newsletter. She also continues her work on equitable patient care.
Kaye has almost two decades of experience in the field of diversity/inclusion, cultural competence and prevention of discrimination and harassment in the workplace. She has conducted hundreds of programs for organizations in a wide range of industries, including health care. Kaye has assisted Lifespan in the past as a consultant, focusing on workforce compliance efforts and language access for limited English proficient patients. Kaye speaks Spanish and has practiced law for ten years.
