The Brown University residency program in diagnostic radiology
is a four-year program which offers state-of-the-art training in
all aspects of diagnostic and interventional radiology. With a
dedicated faculty of over 60 fellowship-trained radiologists,
the Brown program provides residents, medical students and
fellows a rich educational environment. Our residents rank among
the top in the country, consistently placing in the top 5th to
10th percentile on the national board examinations.The residency
program currently accepts seven residents per year.
Fellowships One-year fellowship positions are offered in vascular and
interventional radiology with three candidates accepted annually
and body imaging, with two candidates accepted annually. A
comprehensive fellowship in women's imaging was established in
2009 and is currently accepting two candidates per year.
School of Diagnostic
The Rhode Island Hospital School of Diagnostic Imaging provides
radiologic technology students with the knowledge and skills
necessary to competently perform their professional
responsibilities in the following programs: Breast Imaging,
Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Radiology,
Nuclear Medicine, and Sonography .
