  • CVS/pharmacy Draw A Breath Asthma Education Program
In a partnership to educate parents, children and health care providers about pediatric asthma, Hasbro Children's Hospital and CVS/pharmacy launched the CVS/pharmacy Draw a Breath Asthma Education Program, which included the production of a book and videotape, both called Relieve the Squeeze: How to Take Control of Your Asthma, for pre-teens and teenagers. Based at Hasbro Children's Hospital, this is an innovative, multifaceted education and advocacy program to assist families and children with asthma. The goal of Draw A Breath is the same as the National Lung and Blood Institute 1997 guidelines: for every child with asthma and their family to have a clear, written, physician-designed plan for asthma control.
