Organization and Staff

The Risk Management Department within Lifespan Corporate Services and related corporations coordinates all risk management activities throughout the Lifespan system. These include clinical Risk Management services at each affiliate, the administration of the Lifespan Malpractice Plan, including all off-shore and on-shore captive activities, all on-shore insurance service activities, as well as the procurement of all property and casualty insurances from the commercial marketplace.

Risk Management personnel are assigned to and based at each hospital within Lifespan. The Lifespan hospitals are:

The Lifespan Malpractice Plan is administered by Lifespan Risk Services, Inc., which is a Rhode Island-based corporation, wholly owned by Lifespan..
