Rhode Island Bereavement Support Groups

Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island provides bereavement support groups in various Rhode Island locations for those grieving the death of a loved one. All are welcome, regardless of whether they have used the organization's services in the past.   • Young Widows Bereavement Support Group
    St. Lawrence School
    622 Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence
    2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

  • FRIENDS Way
    Bereavement support group for children and teens, ages 3 to 18, and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one. There is also a group for young adults, ages 18 to 25.

  • The Samaritans of Rhode Island
    Safe Place (Grief Support)

    Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., peer to peer support group, for adults 18 years and older, provides a non-threatening environment where caring people who have experienced loss through suicide can share their feelings.
