Children's Services at Bradley Hospital

Bradley Hospital offers a full range of treatment options for children from infants to age 12. From inpatient treatment to residential care to outpatient services, our experienced staff assesses the clinical needs of each child and develops an individualized treatment plan for each child and family.

• Inpatient Treatment Program
  Bradley Hospital's inpatient services are for children ages 3 to 12 years, who suffer from serious emotional and behavioral disturbances and are in need of short-term stabilization, assessment and treatment for suicidal, aggressive or other unsafe behaviors.

• Outpatient Services
  Bradley Hospital's outpatient services provide comprehensive mental health evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents and families from Rhode Island and southern New England.

• Children's Partial Hospital Program
  The primary goal of the program is to help children safely live at home while offering children and their families the opportunity to work on emotional, social, and behavioral difficulties that occur at home and in the community.

• Pediatric Partial Hospital Program
  The Pediatric Partial Hospital Program is a treatment program for infants, toddlers and preschool children from infancy to 6 years of age who have serious emotional, behavioral, eating, sleeping or relationship problems.

• Residential Treatment Programs
  Bradley Hospital provides intensive, family-centered residential treatment services to children ages 5 to 12 years who have emotional and behavioral problems that prevent them from living safely at home.

• Medical Psychiatric Program
  A collaboration with Hasbro Children's Hospital, the Medical/Psychiatric Program is designed for children and adolescents with both challenging mental health and medical conditions who require hospitalization.

• Children's Outpatient Services at Newport Hospital
  As an extension of Bradley Hospital, a child psychiatrist and related outpatient services are available at Newport Hospital.
