Brown University AIDS Containment Facility

This NIH supported core facility consists of 5 rooms; entry and exit rooms, 2 tissue culture rooms and a general laboratory. The 900 sq. ft. facility has appropriate design and air flow to be classified as a Biosafety Level 3 laboratory. The laboratory is located in the Biomedical Center at Brown University and Dr. Peter Shank, CFAR Immunovirology and Laboratory Services Core Director (email: peter_shank@brown.edu) is the director of the facility.
