Telephone and TV Service
Telephone
Each patient room, other than those in the PICU,
has its own telephone. Incoming calls can be received at no charge,
however there is a $3 daily fee for unlimited local service for
outgoing calls. If you do not rent the telephone service for outgoing
calls, you may still use the phone to call any hospital department
or other patients' rooms at no charge.
Long distance calls must be charged to your home phone or calling
card or be placed as collect calls. For more information about

Television
Color televisions with cable service and VCRs are provided in
each room free of charge. Channel 3 is our Patient Information
Network (PIN), which offers general information and programs on
health and medical topics. The channel numbers on the television
sets do not always match locally listed channels. A television
channel guide is available in each patient's room.
