Child Life Program
Our child life program helps children and their families deal with
the interruption in a child's normal routine that occurs when he
or she is in the hospital. Child life specialists prepare the child
and his or her family for illness, hospitalization, surgery and
medical procedures using play materials and medical equipment.
The program provides children with:
- educational experiences,
- art programs,
- holiday celebrations,
- outdoor recreation,
- celebrity guest visits and
- special events.
