Education

Students and residents from Brown Medical School and its affiliated Pediatric Residency Program participate in clinical activities as part of their education. 

In addition, the Adolescent Healthcare Center faculty actively participates in Brown Medial School's preclinical programs in pathophysiology.

Research Activities

The medical staff members at the Adolescent Healthcare Center are actively engaged in research. Our research activities focus on:

  • medical complications of eating disorders, 
  • adolescent health risk behaviors such as: 
    smoking and STDs, 
  • long-acting hormonal contraception in adolescents and 
  • the psychosocial and medical issues of teen parents and their children
